Our company needed a BHT system. We were looking for a company that could help us. We found out that NORD BHT provides these services and many others in Lithuanian. It was very convenient for us, so we started cooperation with NORD BHT.
Nord BHT's specialists also helped us when we had to deal with the Labour Inspectorate. They were inspecting the client's construction site and at the same time they were inspecting our work. They found irregularities. Because we did not understand what the Labour Inspectorate was asking us to do, we were not able to respond to them in time. Later we went to the inspector ourselves and communicated directly, thinking that the problems could be solved verbally. However, we were unpleasantly surprised when, after the interview, we received an instruction from the Labour Inspectorate that failure to provide the missing documents would result in the suspension of the company's activities. We realised that we needed specialist help and immediately turned to NORD BHT, who were very prompt and very professional in resolving the situation: they explained the requirements, laws and regulations in force and helped us to prepare the necessary documentation. We have been working with this company for three years now, improving the competence of our employees and solving work safety challenges in the company and on the construction site. A new report by the Norwegian Labour Inspectorate and STAMI shows that workers under 25 are the most affected in the construction sector. In 2024, 3,902 work-related injuries will be recorded in the sector, and the youngest workers are more likely to be injured than their older colleagues.
This is one of the highest numbers in the last decade. Only in 2021 were there more fatalities in 10 years.More seriously, 6 work-related deaths have already been recorded at the beginning of 2026.
